In a press release, Mausu Promotion announced that seiyuu Masaaki Tsukada passed away on January 27. He is known for voicing the Yamamoto from Bleach and several other characters from anime such as Gintama and Fullmetal Alchemist.
He had been recuperating from physical illness recently before passing away. The funeral is scheduled to take place on February 2 at Yokohama Myourenji.
He lived with his wife Masako Nozawa, a well-established seiyuu in her own right.
