TV Anime 'Nobunaga no Shinobi' Gets Second Season for Spring 2017


The fifth issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine has announced that Naoki Shigeno's 4-koma manga Nobunaga no Shinobi will receive a second season. It is slated to begin its broadcast in Spring 2017.

Nobunaga no Shinobi began its serialization in Young Animal in June 2008 and currently has ten compiled volumes in print, with the 11th volume releasing on February 28. The first TV anime is being produced by TMS Entertainment and began its broadcast in Fall 2016. It is currently airing with 21 episodes so far. A five-minute "episode 0" was streamed online in March 2016. Crunchyroll is currently simulcasting the anime worldwide, excluding Asia.
