Studio Fanworks has announced that its anime Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai! will be receiving a 24-episode sequel that is slated to air this summer. The series will also be streamed in China. Cast members will reprise their roles, and Rareko (Gakkatsu!) will reprise his role as director and scriptwriter.
The web manhua is drawn by Ling You and has been publishing online on the Kuaikan Manhua website since 2014. The series' first TV anime adaptation aired in Spring 2017 with a total of 12 episodes.
