The Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai 2018 event announced a TV anime adaptation of Dachima Inaka and Pochi Iida's Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de 2-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki desu ka? (Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?) light novel series on Sunday.
Synopsis
A new kind of momcom roleplaying adventure!
What would you do if you got transported into a video game...with your mom?? That's the dilemma facing high schooler Masato Oosuki, who has been unwittingly thrown into an RPG world with his doting mother close behind as part of a secret government scheme. Inaka launched the comedy fantasy series with illustrations by Iida under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint in January 2017. Kadokawa published the sixth volume on August 18. The novel won the Grand prize at the 29th Fantasia Taisho contest. A manga adaptation by Meicha has been serialized in Young Ace UP magazine since last October. The first compiled volume went on sale on August 25.
Yen Press licensed the light novel earlier this March and plans to publish the first volume on November 27.
