Doujin Series 'Dogeza de Tanondemita' Gets Anime Adaptation

The September 2020 issue of Megami Magazine announced an anime adaptation of Kazuki Funatsu's Dogeza de Tanondemita (I Tried Asking While Groveling) doujin series on Thursday. DMM Pictures simultaneously opened an official website for the short anime, revealing the main staff and a teaser visual (pictured).

Synopsis
The main character Dogesuaru, who wants to see the naughty bits of girls, has a last resort to persuade them. That is, to grovel in front of them. Intent on having his lewd requests heard, he endures through the kowtowing. The heroines are often taken aback, embarrassed, and confused by his sudden action. Is anything impossible before dogeza?! Will the girls show him their risqué side?!

Shinpei Nagai (Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken, Vatican Kiseki Chousakan assistant director) is credited as the director and animatics creator. Haribote is designing the characters.

Funatsu began posting the ecchi fantasy manga on his Twitter account in April 2017. The first three chapters were published on the web manga portal ComicWalker the following year. Kadokawa released a compiled volume in March 2018.

Yagi Honjo penned two light novel volumes based on the series in June and November 2018, featuring illustrations by Funatsu.
