The official website for Miki no Mikoto announced on Wednesday that the franchise is getting a short anime. The anime, which will consist of 13 short episodes, is a collaboration between Bandai Namco Entertainment's &CAST!!! and Production I.G's Anime Beans applications. The series will be streamed on &CAST!!! and other platforms in 2020.

Miki no Mikoto is an original project by Bandai Namco Entertainment that personifies different sake varieties into handsome men. Some of the character designers include Cocokanata and those who have previously worked on Touken Ranbu, such as Nitaka and Shiramine. The franchise also includes a web program and a game that can be accessed through the &CAST!!! application.
