Returning staff members from the SSSS.Gridman anime series include director Akira Amemiya, scriptwriter Keiichi Hasegawa, character designer Masaru Sakamoto, and music composer Shirou Sagisu.
SSSS.Gridman, the first collaboration between Tsuburaya Productions and animation studio Trigger, aired in Fall 2018 for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles and Funimation streamed an English dub.
