At the Nyanpasu Matsuri Vacation Nanon! event on Saturday, a third season for the Non Non Biyori anime series was announced.
Non Non Biyori adapts Atto's slice of life comedy manga of the same title, which began its serialization in Comic Alive magazine in September 2009. Kadokawa published the 13th volume in November 2018. The manga has a cumulative 1.75 million copies of its compiled volumes in circulation.
Silver Link. produced the first two anime seasons in Fall 2013 and Summer 2015. The seventh and tenth limited edition manga volumes bundled two original video animations in July 2014 and September 2016, respectively. The Non Non Biyori Movie: Vacation anime film opened in Japan last August.
Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime series in North America and released both seasons on Blu-ray and DVD in January 2015 and November 2016. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in October 2014 and shipped the 11th volume on April 2.
