The official website for the TV anime adaptation of the Mars Red stage play announced two additional cast members on Sunday. The anime series is scheduled to air in April 2021.

The additional cast members are joining Junichi Suwabe (ACCA: 13-ku Kantsatsu-Ka), Tasuku Hatanaka (Koutetsujou no Kabaner), Akira Ishida (Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu), and Kenichi Suzumaru (Owari no Seraph) as Yoshinobu Maeda, Shutaro Kurusu, Takeuchi, and Suwa, respectively. The latter two are reprising their roles from the 2013 and 2015 stage productions.
Kouhei Hatano (Freezing Vibration assistant director) is helming the series at Signal.MD. Junichi Fujisaki (Atom: The Beginning) is handling the series composition and script. Bunou Fujisawa, the original creator of the stage play, is credited as the sound director.
