The official website for the second season of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san has revealed two more cast members, a new key visual, and a promotional video on Saturday. The series will broadcast on Tokyo MX on July 7 at 11:30 p.m., and will be later followed by AT-X, YTV, BS-NTV, and J:COM TV. It will also be streamed by Netflix in Japan.
The new promotional video also previews the opening song "Zero Centimeters" by Yuiko Oohara.
Director Hiroaki Akagi will reprise his role, with the assistance of Une Shinya (Jinsei episode director), to helm the series at Shin-Ei Animation. Kanichi Katou (Tsugumomo), Aki Itami (Piano no Mori (TV)), and Hiroko Fukuda (Amanchu! Advance) are penning the scripts. Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Orange) will return to compose the music.
The first season aired during the Anime no Me programming block for 12 episodes in Winter 2018. The anime was simulcast on Crunchyroll, while Funimation provided an English dub and released the show on Blu-ray in February.
