Voice actress Ari Ozawa and chiptune musician Hige Driver announced their marriage on Friday. Hige Driver released his statement through Twitter and Ozawa posted on her Ameba blog. Ozawa's joint Twitter account with voice actress Maria Naganawa tweeted a congratulations message shortly after, presumably from Naganawa.
The announcements—released on Ozawa's 28th birthday—were full of affection. Hige Driver is charmed by Ozawa's carefree, "sunflower-like" smile, and Ozawa wants to continue running, jumping, and crying with him, hoping they can soon build a warm family. Both parties are thankful for the support they've received over the years.
Ozawa began voice acting in 2013, and landed her breakthrough role as Chiyo Sakura in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun a year later. Her lead roles since include Papi in Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, Kurumi Ebisuzawa in Gakkougurashi!, Kirin Toudou in Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, and Hina Hikawa in the BanG Dream! franchise since the second season. She also performed theme songs for Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, and Gakkougurashi!, among others.
Hige Driver released his first songs on Avex Digital's platform muzie in late 2005. In October 2011, his 2008 single "Hello Windows" exceeded one million views on Nico Nico Douga (now niconico). His discography includes eight albums and numerous compilations, collaborations, and anime theme songs. Ozawa performed his song "Uraomote Fortune," the ending theme for Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, and featured on his tracks "Saikousoku Fall in Love" and "Da-Da-Dash" for Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou.
