The official website for the original video anime (OVA) of COLOPL's Alice Gear Aegis smartphone game revealed main staff, cast, and theme song artists on Thursday. The OVA, subtitled Doki! Actress Darake no Mermaid Grand Prix, has a runtime of 15 minutes with 90 seconds of special footage, and is scheduled for a Summer 2021 release.

The OVA is based on COLOPL's 3D smartphone shooting game, which was released for iOS and Android platforms in January 2018. DMM.com ported the game on PC last June.
