
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Sousuke Tooka's Ousama Ranking (King Ranking) manga revealed on Friday additional cast members, the first key visual (pictured), first promotional video, and opening theme artist. The anime is scheduled to premiere this October on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block.

J-pop band King Gnu (Banana Fish first ending theme) is performing the opening theme "BOY," previewed in the promotional video below.
Yousuke Hatta (Boogiepop wa Warawanai (2019) assistant director) is helming the anime at Wit Studio. Taku Kishimoto (Yuukoku no Moriarty) is handling the series composition, and Atsuko Nozaki (Tokyo Magnitude 8.0) is designing the characters. MAYUKO (Hataraku Saibou (TV)) is composing the music.
Tooka began drawing the fantasy adventure manga on the Manga Hack website in May 2017. Kadokawa shipped the 11th volume on August 12.
