The official website of the Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi (My Senpai is Annoying) television anime adaptation revealed on Wednesday five additional cast members and a new key visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2021.

Ryouta Itou (Yesterday wo Uttate assistant director) is helming the anime at Doga Kobo, and Yoshimi Narita (Itsudatte Bokura no Koi wa 10 cm Datta.) is handling the series composition. Jikou Abe (Arslan Senki (TV): Fuujin Ranbu character design cooperation) is designing the characters, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is composing the music.
Shiromanta began drawing the comedy romantic manga on Twitter and pixiv on September 2017, and then began serializing on Ichijinsha and pixiv's Comic POOL on March 2018. Ichijinsha shipped the seventh volume on April 28.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in May 2020, and will publish the sixth volume on November 30.
