The Princess Connect! Re:Dive 3.5 livestream event revealed new staff, the first promotional video, and key visual (pictured) for the second season on Friday. The cast members are returning from the first season. The second season will premiere in January 2022.

The first anime season aired in 13 episodes in Spring 2020. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles as it aired in Japan.
Developed by CyberAgent and Cygames, the Princess Connect! smartphone game stayed in service between February 2015 and July 2016. The sequel, Princess Connect! Re:Dive, was launched on iOS and Android platforms in February 2018 and in May for Windows that year.
